Dr. Hutchison has a special interest in Occupational Health, training Medical Students and all aspects of General Practice. He is married with three grown-up children and enjoys music, food and racket sports.

Dr Fearn has an interest in diabetic care and is the lead GP for our diabetes clinic. He also enjoys dermatology and performs minor operations. Out of work he is a keen cyclist and golfer.

Dr Dore-Green is a GP trainer with an interest in all areas of medicine but especially heart problems, diabetes, women's health and sports related injuries. Outside of the surgery she has a busy family life with two school aged children and enjoys running, cycling and music.

Dr Todd enjoys all aspects of general practice and has an interest in respiratory medicine. She also helps look after our medical students who join us from the University of Bristol.

Dr Welch is the locality lead for the Clinical Commissioning Group. He is a GP trainer and has a special interest in Paediatrics, Gastroenterology and Minor Surgery. Outside of work he has 3 school age children and enjoys any sport he can find time to do.

Dr. Mike Crisp joined the Partnership on 1st January 2019. He has a special interest in cardiology having undertaken masters level postgraduate studies. He carries out a GP Cardiologist clinic once a week for Oxford Universities Hospital Trust. Outside of work he is kept busy with a young family but finds time to enjoy running. He also speaks Spanish.

Dr. Caroline Butler joined Mythe Medical Practice as a Partner on 1st February 2019 having previously trained as a GP Registrar with Mythe Medical. She has clinical interests in dermatology, paediatrics and haematology having previously trained as an Academic Haematology Registrar in Oxford. She is married and has three children but tries to find time to enjoy cooking, pilates and music.

Dr Wainman is a true generalist and one of our GP trainers. He is the lead GP for IT in the practice and runs our facebook and twitter pages. He also coordinates the practice's involvement in research. Outside of work his time is taken up with his young family as well as playing the bassoon.

Debra is one of our Nurse Practitioners running an Acute Illness Clinic. She is able to deal with some queries by telephone or will book you an appointment with either herself or a doctor. Please be prepared to give as much detail about your problems as you can to the Receptionists to allow them to direct you to the correct Clinician.
Angela is our Clinical Manager and is responsible for ensuring that all aspects of Nursing and clinical care run smoothly liaising with the GPs, Nurse Practitioner and Practice Manager. She also shares care of patients diagnosed with COPD and Asthma from our Jesmond site.
Our practice nurses deal with a wide range of clinical care e.g. health promotion, holiday vaccinations, and other injections, chronic disease management such as diabetes, respiratory illness, coronary heart disease, dressings, removal of stitches, ears syringing, influenza clinics, cervical cytology, blood pressure, smoking cessation advice, dietary advice, general advice and new patient examinations.
Bridget is involved in managing all of the business aspects of the practice such as making sure that the right systems are in place to provide a high quality of patient care, human resources, finance, patient safety, premises and equipment and information technology. The practice manager supports the GPs, Clinical Manager and other medical professionals with delivering patient services and also helps to develop extended services to enhance patient care.
Deputy Practice Manager
Maggie assists Bridget in managing the Practice and is specifically responsible for our computerised appointments system. She also looks after our Information Technology and ensures that we offer the most up to date ways for patients to access records, contact the Practice, make online appointments and order their prescriptions.
Claire oversees the Practice data which helps us to manage chronic diseases such as Diabetes, Asthma and Coronary Heart Disease. She ensures that patients are regularly informed when their checks are due and assists the Practice Nurses in arranging appointments for follow-ups.
Marie manages a team of Receptionists working both behind the scenes in our Admin Room answering your calls, arranging appointments and prescriptions and at our Desk on the first floor greeting patients when they arrive for consultations.
Christine is responsible for management of the correspondence workflow. She ensures that all letters and discharge summaries are correctly allocated, recorded and filed electronically in the patient medical records.
Alison looks after both our new registrations and outgoing patients. She ensures that all paperwork and necessary checks are completed promptly and that we have all the correct information to enable registration.

Nikki assists Marie in managing our team of Receptionists ensuring the day to day running of patient contacts is working smoothly.
