Early detection saves lives.
All 55-74 year olds in Tewkesbury will be risk assessed for Lung Cancer. Patients at higher risk will be contacted by ‘In Health’ who are the specialist screening team and if further questions indicate a higher risk a lung CT scan will be offered.
The specialist team will advise on the results and arrange urgent treatment if indicated.
There is the potential to pick up other issues with the scan – these results will be passed to your GP who will be in touch with you if this is the case.
