At Mythe Medical Practice we value the views and experiences of our patients.
Our Patient Participation Group (PPG) is a forum where patients and staff work together to share ideas, provide feedback and help shape the services we offer.
By joining our PPG you can make a real difference to how we develop and deliver care in our community.
Two ways to get involved
We currently have two types of PPG membership so our patients can take part in the way that suits them best.
In-person PPG
Our in-person group meets at the practice every two months for about 90 minutes, usually in the afternoon.
Members and staff discuss local health developments, share feedback and explore ways to improve patient experience and wellbeing.
- Around twelve members
- A GP and senior manager attend each meeting
- Members may help with practice events such as Flu or Covid vaccination clinics or health education activities
- Representatives also attend wider locality meetings in Tewkesbury and Gloucestershire

Virtual PPG
Our Virtual PPG is designed for patients who want to contribute entirely online.
There are no meetings or in-person attendance. All participation is done through online surveys and feedback forms.
- Approximately 100 members actively provide feedback and help shape services
- Complete short periodic surveys and feedback questionnaires
- Share opinions on services, communication and patient experience
- Suggest ideas for improvement
- Help shape future developments at the practice

How to join
All patients registered at Mythe Medical Practice are welcome to join. People of all ages, genders and backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
